... is an independent, privately-funded, registered charity that seeks to achieve its objectives through working with and providing financial support for organisations active in the areas we have identified as meeting priority needs.
The Trust’s current funding strategy is to concentrate on two main areas of activity:
- support of victims of domestic and sexual abuse; and
- early intervention programmes with chilcren and familes aiming to break cycles of social and economic deprivation and dysfunction
The Trust also maintains a small grants fund for community causes in the County of Kent, administered by the Kent Community Foundation, and all applications to this fund are made through the Foundation.
The Brook Trust does not accept and will not consider unsolicited funding applications, (except in the case of applications properly made via the Kent Community Foundation for the Brook Trust Fund for Kent). The Trustees will only consider direct funding applications which have been invited.
